Our EVA X01 structure has to be light to maximize our batteries use and/or get more payload. The VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircrafts require a particular architecture that cannot be copied from an airplane or helicopter. We also need to innovate in the materials we use and the way we combine them, particularly in the transitional phase needs between a vertical and horizontal flight mode.
We finally need to find a partner that will collaborate intensively with us in processing the data online, using the same tools to avoid any data issue.
One of the reason we chose Toulouse, France is because the city offers a large choice of suppliers in that field with reasonable prices and timelines. Yesterday we visited one of our key partner in composite materials and are convinced that it can offer the right solution for our VTOL architecture.
